Josh Summers Yin Yoga Immersion

The Five Elements of Spirit with Josh Summers
Yin Yoga, Fascia, Breath & the Inner Landscape of Energy
A 15-hour Weekend Immersion ~ May 1-2, 2027

Most people encounter Yin Yoga as a quiet practice of long-held stretches. But beneath the still shapes lies a deeper intelligence—an inner architecture connecting fascia, breath, emotion, and energy. When we slow down enough to feel this architecture directly, something surprising happens: the body begins to reveal patterns that ancient traditions described as the Five Elements—Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth.

In this immersive 15-hour intensive, Josh Summers guides students into the living experience of this elemental map. Through guided Yin practices, breathwork, and subtle observation, you’ll explore how each element expresses itself through the body’s connective tissue and nervous system. Metal teaches release. Water restores deep resilience. Wood brings direction and vitality. Fire awakens joy and connection. Earth nourishes stability and trust. Rather than forcing change, Yin Yoga creates the conditions where the body reorganizes itself naturally—revealing a deeper harmony between structure, energy, and spirit.

This workshop is designed for curious beginners, experienced practitioners, and Yin Yoga teachers alike. Together we will explore how to practice safely at your personal edge, how to recognize the difference between tension and compression in the body, and how the Five Element model illuminates the emotional and energetic landscape beneath our physical practice. Whether you are new to Yin Yoga or looking to deepen your understanding of fascia, breath, and Chinese Medicine, this intensive offers a rare opportunity to experience the elemental intelligence of the body directly.

You’ll leave not just with new knowledge, but with a renewed sense of the body’s quiet wisdom—and a felt understanding of how Yin Yoga can restore balance, resilience, and clarity in the midst of modern life.
