Yoga’s Healing Path with Doug Keller
Dynamic Alignment: The Therapeutic Wisdom of Yoga with Doug Keller
November 6-8, 2026, Arlington, MA
A Rare Opportunity to Study with Doug Keller, one of the world’s foremost yoga therapists!
Yoga is more than stretching; it’s a therapeutic system that can reduce inflammation, restore mobility, and renew vitality at every stage of life.
This weekend with Doug Keller offers both profound wisdom and practical tools for healthier living. Each session blends clear teaching, guided practice, and take-home resources, making it invaluable for both:
• Seasoned practitioners and teachers seeking depth and therapeutic insights.
• Newer students who want a safe, empowering foundation for a lifelong yoga practice.
• You may register for the full weekend or for individual sessions/days.
Each session will include an asana and pranayama practice aligned with the theme, along with a full-color, detailed PDF to support your practice.
This is a practical, news-you-can-use training in therapeutic wisdom that you can incorporate into your classes or your own practice to make the most of your yoga!
Traditional alignment in yoga, while it has its value and applications, has been static, focusing on how well bones are stacked and aligned — with the principle example being Tadasana, which is used for postural assessment.
All well and good.
Dynamic Alignment focuses on how well our joints and their supporting muscles and fascia are aligned for MOVEMENT, maintaining their health and integrity through all of the challenges they meet in life as well as in yoga.
Because it’s in movement — and especially in lack thereof, or underuse — that pain problems, inflammation, and joint deterioration (especially in connection with the natural process of aging) arise
Yoga — while it has a reputation in the media as being about extremes — is a practice for maintaining the health of our joints, their supporting muscles, and connective tissues, as well as for reducing chronic pain, inflammatory issues, and more through its range of accessible movement and breath practices.
We’re going to cover all of these aspects of the wisdom of yoga practice in accessible sessions that include supporting illustrated notes as well as recordings of all the sessions in high quality video and audio, which will be available to you for review and practice for a year — and in addition, some on-demand practice videos from my extensive library, to see how the ideas from the training can be incorporated into a yoga class or well-rounded 75 minute practice!
