Daniel Orlansky, E-RYT-500

Daniel, a yoga teacher for 18 years, is certified in Jnana Yoga, Kali Ray TriYoga and Kundalini Yoga, and is the originator of Meridian Yoga. He holds a masters degree in Expressive Art Therapy/Dance Therapy from Lesley University and has been a visiting lecturer in movement studies at Tufts University. He teaches in many locations including the Kripalu Center and the Omega Institute, where he has been Core Yoga Faculty for six years. He conducts workshops and 200-hour yoga teacher certifications in America and Europe.


Liz Owen, E-RYT-500

Liz combines physical alignment, meditative movement, and the cultivation of a joyful heart to create an innovative and transformative class experience. Liz has studied Iyengar, Vinyasa and classical Hatha yoga for over 25 years and was a certified Iyengar yoga teacher from 1995 – 2010. She teaches classes and workshops throughout New England, including at Yoga Journal Conferences and the Kripalu Center; she is also on the faculty of Wellesley College.

Dana Lincoln, E-RYT 500

Dana is founder of Prasada Yoga Center in North Hampton, NH.  She has studied and has been influenced by many great teachers and systems of yoga, including Astanga, Iyengar and Anusara Yogas. Dana is dedicated to guiding students to a greater level of self-awareness through her uniquely energetic and informative style. From her experience and through her studies, Dana has a deep understanding of body mechanics and a warm compassionate way of teaching.

Doug Keller, E-RYT-500

Doug received intensive training in the Iyengar system in New York City, practiced Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in India, and became one of the first certified Anusara Yoga teachers worldwide. He has produced three highly respected books on asana, pranayama and yoga philosophy, and for three years he has been a regular columnist for Yoga+ Magazine, writing the ‘Asana Solutions’ column that addresses specific therapeutic problems.

Carrie Tyler, E-RYT-500, PYT

Carrie, owner and director of Dover Yoga, is known for her playful style of teaching and her strong knowledge of anatomy and alignment. She holds certificates in Pilates, Thai Bodywork, and Reiki and is pursuing a degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire. She is available for private consultations and specializes in creating programs for those with medical concerns, injury rehabilitation, and structural issues.

Jennifer Yarro, RYT-200

Jennifer is the owner of Frog Lotus Yoga in North Adams, MA. A Thai Yoga Practitioner and the co-founder of the Thai Yoga School of New England, Jenn has trained in Thailand with Lek Chaiya, Baan Nit, Master Nipha, and at the TMC School, and in America with Kam Thye Chow. Jennifer is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and a certified yoga instructor.

Aaron Cantor

Aaron is known for his powerful practice, intuitive understanding of the body and his creative and engaging teaching style. He has studied with Beryl Bender Birch, Angela Farmer, Ana Forrest, Richard Freeman, Tias Little, Dharma Mitra, Shandor Remete, Erich Schiffman, Patricia Walden, Ganga White & Tracy Rich and Duncan Wong. Aaron draws on circus arts, dance, meditation, anatomical study and various martial arts for inspiration and insight.

Barbara Benagh

Barbara has practiced yoga for nearly 35 years. Her eloquent teaching style promotes a yoga practice grounded in asana technique and transformed by breath and the subtle body. She was described by Yoga Journal as “one of the most insightful and intelligent teachers around”. She teaches yoga seminars throughout the US and is a regular contributor to Yoga Journal magazine as a writer and presenter. Barbara is also the instructor for five well received DVDs including Yoga for Stress Relief.

Celeste Lemieux, RYT-500

Celeste was trained in Kripalu Yoga. She was certified to teach prenatal yoga by Janice Clairfield of Vancover, BC and trained with ALACE to be a birth doula in 2002. She teaches numerous prenatal yoga classes in the Boston area for Harvard Vanguard, MIT, Healthworks and Isis Parenting. Celeste is passionate about pregnancy and birth and loves to work with women and couples, using yoga to help them embrace the transformational experience of pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood.


Josh Summers

Josh teaches Yin Yoga Trainings and Workshops throughout the United States and Europe. He maintains a private acupuncture practice in Boston, Ma, and recently co-founded the metaMind Institute, a mindfulness-based strategy firm. Josh co-wrote “The Buddha’s Playbook: Strategies for Enlightened Living.“

Chip Hartranft, E-RYT-200

Chip Hartranft’s work bridges the traditions of yoga and Buddhism. He is the founding director of The Arlington Center, uniting yoga and dharma practice, and has taught an integration of yoga movement & meditation in the Boston area since 1978. An independent scholar of early Indian Buddhism and yoga, Chip is the author of two books, The Yoga-Sutra of Patañjali: A New Translation with Commentary (Shambhala Publications), and the forthcoming How The Buddha Taught Meditation.     www.arlingtoncenter.org
